So, apparently there may not be a boy's tennis team in Melrose this year as they don't have enough people signed up and as of now nobody has agreed to teach it.
That sucks, there's something else that's funny/weirdthough . Someone on the board asked if there was no boy's team if that'd affect Title 9 and apparently it only matters if there's more boys sports than girls, and not the other way around.

I think that would fall under reverse discrimination. I bet if someone in the community pushed it they would have to equal out the boys and girls sports.
Too bad there is not enough interest in boys tennis. It is one of the few high school sports a guy can play most of his adult life. _________________ Scoutmaster

Kind of bummed that there may not be a team, but last year we didn't even have enough guys to make a full team and we lost four of our guys. _________________ Name: Oswald
