I was in 8th grade. Came to school a little early (on accident) and went into the library to watch TV. The news was on, and a building was on fire.
"What's going on?" I ask. Shirley answers me, "One of the WTC buildings was hit."
I remember thinking I have no idea what those buildings are. I found out pretty quickly. I keep watching, but class is starting soon. Then the second tower gets hit. My first hour teacher told me our lives would change, we didn't have any actually learning going on, we just watched the news all day. Mr. Rushmeyer told our class we'd better get ready for war. He guesses, (correctly I might add) that we'd attack Iran, Iraq, or Afghanistan. _________________

| I remember it happening...and I thought i was an accident. - and I still thought it was an accident beacause Mrs. Molitor turned off the TV so we could take a test (remember that Brent) and we didn't get an update until second period, when both towers were hit and so was the pentagon. Once the pentagon was hit - we all knew something bad was happening. We watched it in every classroom and Mrs. Pottratz was freaking because her daughter lives in NYC. It was insane. |

First hour german.
A few of us arrived early and my dad, the former german teacher for those that don't know, was putting in a movie before class. Before he could change it to video 1, we saw the news.
I still remember vividly watching the second plane making impact. My dad it was similar to JFK, you remember the exact place you were and how you felt.
Creepy. |

| I was in 7th grade and I found out in Mr. Dusha's class. And he told us we would remember that time for the rest of our lives. And we just watched the news all day in his class and Ms. Walker's class. |
