Tonight, at the end of the Mel-TV board meeting, I told the board I would be retiring as president of Mel-TV at the November meeting. I would also be retiring from the board of directors. Twenty years is long enough. It is time to let others take over.

I do still plan to tape the courts of honor and other Scouting events to air on Mel-TV. I plan to keep on giving the station new Scouting programming.
