Man, I had no idea how much the jamboree could cost per person. $795 just for the jamboree alone?
When you get used to paying $15 dollars per weekend campout you forget how much the high adventure stuff can cost. (especially when your parents FORCE you to go, and therefore must cover the costs) _________________

Ouch, that's pretty steep.
Probably gas and food prices, both are ridiculous. |

I see you have read the blog Sergio.
Yeah, the Jambo in 2010 is going to take some major cash this time around. A lot more then I had planned on spending. _________________ Scoutmaster

Yea, I did read the blog, and an estimate of "$2000 and $2500 per participant" for the entire trip, I can for sure see why you'd be hesitant.
Do Scoutmasters, or leaders, not get any sort of discount...or is that just not something that ever happens? _________________
