If my guy has been training with a sack of bricks as a weapon for years can we count this as an exotic weapon so he won't get any penalties that I would get with improvised weapons. I mean, if I had been training with this for years I would know how to use this.

If Alex gets to say he's been training with a sac of bricks for years, I'm going to say I've been training with a lightsaber for years too.

Well, light sabers don't exist(or we haven't found one yet) in DnD, but a sack of bricks do. Also if Steve won't accept that I have been training for years then I now start to train with the bricks. Wearing extra armor to keep me protected of course until I become good with them.

Fine then, I've been training with a "bat'leth", which is an ancient Klingon double bladed battle sword, originally formed by Kahless.

Well, I doubt that Coon has one of those. I can find some bricks anywhere there is a town however. I will even take it as one of my weapon things when I hit level 3 and can take up another weapon.

I don't believe you get to add more weapons at level 3. And if need be I'll just make a bat'leth.
