Unfortunately, you rolled a one. Your sword goes flying through the air and hits the character Alexa in the back, thus interupting the fireball spell he was attempting to cast.

I get my pet bird, a hawk to remove the sword impaling me, and I do a half circle with my hands so one hand is directly above my head and one hand is at about my hip area, at fill lenght from my body at a angle and then pull back so they both meet a few inches from my chest and push outwards, thus casting a fire ball spell.

Heh, a fighter casting a magic spell that all mages have to relearn each day. Why don't they just watch someone cast the spell and do a step by step movements on paper? Drawn out of course. It would go slightly faster.
