Steve, why can there be a level 1 fighter who is an elf at 100-900(If I remember right) and there can be a level 1 human fighter at age 17- 21 or so. Did it take the elf longer to be a level 1 fighter and if so, shouldn't they level slower. I mean, it took (a) hundred/s years to learn what a human did in fighting in 20 years. _________________ Name: Oswald

Exactly, it's a game. That's how the game is set up.
(Besides that, elves are slow learners and think too highly of themselves.) |

So, shouldn't the gain experince slower or did they learn not to learn to be slow? I mean really, they must be bored for the hundreds of years of doing nothing. They aren't rich, so they must have a slow business. Their physical growing slower shouldn't affect them either, since kids wrestle. Heck, if a kid wanted to he could be a muscle man by our age of 5 but their age of like 50. _________________ Name: Oswald

Son, you need to start reading!
There is a book in the forgotten realms universe thing that explains why. I can't remember the title, but it's basically because they aren't allowed to by the elders (they don't reproduce often, so they would die faster)
And they age slower, they don't hit maturity until they're over a hundred. (long time for acne)
and it's weird not wierd |

Mike, I think Chris's elf person is around 900 some years old. Or around that. Anyway, their body must not get much stronger or something because even if they were to walk a mile a day as a kid in their lifespan, they should be able to do that for a long time. If the jogged, they should be able to jog about 50 miles at the very least by the time they come of age. _________________ Name: Oswald
