Tennessee Boy Scout Council purchases 1600 acres
It sounds like the Boy and Cub Scouts around the Tennessee area are going to have a great place to go camping in near future. The Boy Scouts of America have purchased 1,600 acres on the Cumberland Plateau about two hours east of Nashville for a wilderness and adventure "reservation.," according to a post on the WNIR website. Makes me wish I lived nearer to Tennessee. Hmmm. Sounds like it might be an idea for a trip once they get things up and running. To read the full article click here.Labels: camping
